Originally built for use as a theatre (over the years, a number of theatre companies were based here), Rais Hall is the second biggest hall of the National House of Vinohrady. The decorative elements are elegant: a dentil band adorns the ceiling and proscenium, and bands of flowers and fruit and a series of ancient theatrical masks embellish the length of blind arcades along the sides of the room.
It is possible to use the large foyer as well as the separate entrance hall of Rais Hall. The Hall is perfectly suited for welcome drinks, after-parties, and independent smaller conferences, but can also be used for medium-sized groups as a dignified space for gala events or receptions. The Hall has excellent acoustics; as such, it can be used for smaller concerts. Another virtue of Rais Hall is that it is connected directly to the Social Hall.
