Rais Hall

raisuv salThis more intimate Hall is named after the Czech writer Karel Vaclav Rais. It was designed as a theatre hall and blind arcades in the upper section of the Hall are decorated with typical masks in the style of ancient theatre. The decoration makes much use so-called dentils. The Hall has various uses, for example workshops, educational purposes, company and private evenings, chamber concerts, theatre performances, film shows, banquets, sales and exhibitions and many more. The Hall is illuminated with natural and artificial light, but it can be also darkened. An advantage of this space is a direct connection with another Hall – The Social Hall.
