This is biggest and most spectacular historic hall in the National House of Vinohrady, named after Russian poet Vladimir V. Mayakovsky. The Hall is divided into three sections: an auditorium, a raised dance floor at the back and a balcony. The Hall is decorated with beautiful murals. The three-piece allegory on the ceiling was created by Adolf Liebscher, one of the artists of the National Theatre. Its decoration includes 18 busts of significant Czechs as well as a number of rosettes and Amorinos on balconies along with other ornaments. The chandeliers are perhaps the most valuable relics from the end of 19th century.
Mayakovsky Hall is suitable for all kinds of events, for example conferences, balls, gala dinners, concerts, fashion shows and so on. The Hall also has a stage with a green room, a spacious balcony with five boxes and four outside balconies. The premises are air conditioned. The seating capacity of Mayakovsky Hall is 773 people.
